Malouf™ Debuts New Product, The Death Bed™
LOGAN, Utah—Malouf Home™ has launched a new product that targets a wide range of customers. The Death Bed™ helps customers transition through one life’s oldest problems: death. This multi-stage-of-life solution provides users with a unique opportunity to get comfortable sleep before the big sleep.
CEO Sam Malouf said of the product, “Ever since the company was founded, we’ve been looking for unique ways to reimagine sleep products. This new product launch helps people rest in peace, forever.”
The Original Death Bed™ has an external mattress that features a hybrid design with zoned coils and plush comfort foams. The innovation shines in the removable core of the mattress, which is conveniently designed to fit in traditional caskets. The unique core has handles and a zippered mattress protector bag to facilitate hygienic transportation to the mortuary of the sleeper’s choice.
One customer left rave reviews in the beta-test phase of the product. ““I’m getting older, and I think this is such a great product,” said Berenice, age 88.“Funerals are so expensive—why shouldn’t I enjoy my Death Bed now and later?”
In addition to the Original Death Bed™, Malouf™ has also launched The Cremation Death Bed™, which uses a similar design, but without the fire-retardant materials; and The Pushing Up Daises Death Bed™, which contains Malouf’s proprietary FlowerBed™ technology for wildflower growth.
