Return Policy

Mattress and Sleep System:

100-night trial with 30-day use required before initiating the return. Items will be available for a full return if the mattresses had a mattress protector used during trial period and no damage has been done to the adjustable bed base. All orders for a mattress or sleep system come with a free mattress protector (prime smooth, can upgrade in the cart).

Returning mattress:

  • Customer needs to provide proof of donation to a 501c charity. Customer needs to provide proof of donation to receive full return on mattress purchase. This is to be in line with our B Corp messaging. As a Certified B Corp Malouf is dedicated that no mattress goes wasted and can be used by those in need.

Returning Adjustable Bed Base:

  • To be eligible for a return, the adjustable base must be functional, clean and undamaged. Customer will be responsible for shipping the Adjustable bed base back. Return made upon inspection of the adjustable bed base.

Adjustable Bed Base:

50 days since delivery. To be eligible for a return, the adjustable base must be functional, clean and undamaged. Customer will be responsible for shipping the adjustable bed base back. Return made upon inspection of the adjustable bed base.

Furniture:

30 days since the delivery date. The product must be what is damaged and not the box it is delivered in. The customer must show proof that the product is damaged. Customer must contact Malouf within 48 hours of delivery for any delivery damages. Customer will cover the shipping cost to return the furniture product that isn’t damaged and eligible for a return.

Accessories: Sheets, Pillows, Protectors, Toppers

Returned within 30 days of delivery if not opened and used, or if the product is damaged at delivery or has a product defect. Customer to cover the shipping for returning the product.

**If someone bought something at the store, they need to contact that store for a return.

Warranty information

Adjustable Warranty

20-year warranty (S655 & M455)

  • Malouf™ Adjustable Bases offer a warranty which runs for up to twenty (20) years from the date of purchase, according to the tiers set forth below.
    • YEAR 1: Warranty covers defects in the workmanship or materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Malouf ™ will send replacement parts for any defective part to the purchaser, and Malouf ™ will pay all authorized labor and transportation costs associated with the repair or replacement of any parts.
    • YEARS 2-5: During the years two (2) through five (5) from the date of purchase, Malouf ™ will offer replacement parts for any defective part to the purchaser. The purchaser shall bear all service, transportation, labor, and shipping costs associated with the repair or replacement of the defective part(s).
    • YEARS 6-20: During the years six (6) through twenty (20) Malouf ™ will offer replacement parts for any mechanical bed part (excluding electronics, electrical components, drive motors, and massage motors). Purchaser shall pay 1/5th of the replacement cost of the defective part multiplied by the number of years since 5 years after the warranty commencement date, and Malouf ™ shall bear the remainder of the cost of the replacement part. The purchaser shall bear all service, transportation, labor, and shipping costs associated with the repair or replacement of the defective part(s).

10-Year Warranty

  • Structures® E255 Adjustable Bases offer a warranty which runs for up to ten (10) years from the date of purchase, according to the tiers set forth below.
    • YEAR 1: Warranty covers defects in the workmanship or materials for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. Malouf® will send replacement parts for any defective part to the original purchaser ONLY, and Malouf® will pay all authorized labor and transportation costs associated with the repair or replacement of any parts to residents within the continental US.
    • YEARS 2-5: During the years 2 – 5 from the date of purchase, Malouf® will offer replacement parts for any defective part to the purchaser. The purchaser shall bear all service, transportation, labor, and shipping costs associated with the repair or replacement of the defective part(s).
    • YEARS 6-10: During the years 6 – 10, Malouf® will offer replacement parts for any mechanical bed part (excluding electronics, electrical components, drive motors, and massage motors). Purchaser shall pay 1/15th of the replacement cost of the defective part multiplied by the number of years since 5 years after the warranty commencement date, and Malouf® shall bear the remainder of the cost of the replacement part. The purchaser shall bear all service, transportation, labor, and shipping costs associated with the repair or replacement of the defective part(s).

10 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

HOW LONG COVERAGE LASTS

  • This warranty runs for ten (10) years from the date of purchase.

WHAT IS COVERED

  • This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, with the exceptions stated below.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

  • The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and does not cover: (a) wear and tear; (b) normal changes in softness or resilience (including impressions less than 0.75 inches in depth); (c) stains or stained product; (d) misuse or improper maintenance; (e) alteration or repair by unauthorized representatives; or (f ) damage resulting from transit or handling.

WHAT CIRINA™ WILL DO

  • Cirina™, at its sole discretion will repair, replace, or refund any product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship.

HOW STATE LAW APPLIES

  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. The foregoing warranty shall be exclusive and in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and all other warranties otherwise arising by operation of law, course of dealing, custom, trade, or otherwise. Neither the seller nor the manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential arising out of the use or inability to use this product.

  • This warranty runs for fifteen (15) years from the date of purchase.

  • MALOUF®, at its sole discretion, will repair, replace, or refund any pillow that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship.

Protectors

15 Year Limited Warranty

WHAT IS COVERED

  • This warranty covers any defects in mattress protector materials or workmanship. It is subject to the exceptions stated below and contingent upon making a claim within five (5) days of damage and following all laundering instructions on the care label. The warranty also covers mattress stains caused by such defects if the original purchaser: (a) submits a sales receipt showing that the protector and mattress were purchased new and from an authorized retailer in the same transaction; and (b) shows that the mattress was completely covered by the mattress protector when the stain occurred.

HOW LONG COVERAGE LASTS

  • This warranty runs for 15 (fifteen) years from the date of purchase.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

  • The warranty does not cover: (a) misuse or The warranty does not cover: (a) misuse or abuse; (b) failure to follow care instructions by (i) drying on high heat and/or without other towels or bedding (ii) using bleach or bleach detergent (iii) ironing or (iv) dry cleaning; (c) wear and tear, including rips, tears, or normal soiling; (d) stains or damage caused by or related to: (i) inks, nail polish, cosmetics, bleach, non-food related grease, corrosives, alcohol, dyes, or solvents (ii) burns or fire, natural disaster, flood, the, vandalism, or any other loss covered under an insurance policy (iii) structural problems or appliance malfunctions (iv) more than two pints of liquid; (e) mattresses not correctly fitted with the mattress protector; or (f) mattresses used for commercial, institutional, or rental purposes.

WHAT MALOUF ® WILL DO

  • MALOUF®, at its sole discretion will: (1) in the case of a claim for a protector, replace or refund any protector that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship; (2) in the case of a claim for mattress damage, send a cleaning kit, have the mattress professionally cleaned, replace the surface fabric, or replace the mattress.

  • E-mail “warranty@maloufsleep.com” to submit your warranty claim. As part of the claims process, the defective mattress pad must be returned to MALOUF ® for inspection and customer shall be responsible for any and all transportation costs associated with this warranty.

3 Year Limited Warranty

WHAT IS COVERED

  • This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, with the exceptions stated below.

HOW LONG COVERAGE LASTS

  • This warranty runs for three (3) years from the date of purchase. WHAT IS NOT COVERED The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and does not cover: (a) wear and tear; (b) normal changes in soness or resilience (including impressions less than 1 inch in depth); (c) stains; or (d) damage caused by uneven platform or box foundation support.
