Malouf™ Raises Nearly $30,000 for Cache Community Food Pantry to Support COVID-19 Relief Efforts

LOGAN, Utah—Bedding and furniture company Malouf™ raised $28,515 for the Cache Community Food Pantry during a recent charity sale to support local COVID-19 relief efforts. The Cache Community Food Pantry will utilize these funds to help individuals and families directly affected by COVID-19.

The week-long sale opened up to community members May 11 through Malouf’s VIP site, giving visitors access to hundreds of premium bedding and furniture products. Malouf™ donated 10 percent of every purchase to the Cache Community Food Pantry.

“As a certified B Corp™, we continually look for ways to use our business as a force for good,” said Malouf™ co-founder Kacie Malouf. “When COVID-19 hit earlier this year, we saw an immediate impact on our community, so we evaluated the largest areas of need and how we could help the most people. That’s when we reached out to our local food pantry.”

On average, the Cache Community Food Pantry serves 140 families every week in Cache, Box Elder and Franklin counties. They support organizations such as Brigham Senior Center, Bear River House, Cache Employment and Training, CAPSA, Providence Head Start and Tremonton Food Pantry.

Matt Whitaker, director of the Cache Community Food Pantry, commented, “We lost both of our major food drives this year due to COVID-19, and at the same time, we’re seeing a large increase in people applying for help. We’re overwhelmed by the support from Malouf and the community. We’ll use these funds to make sure our local families have food on their tables.”

In past years, Malouf™ has hosted a warehouse sale at its Logan headquarters to support the Malouf Foundation, the company’s charitable arm dedicated to confronting child sexual exploitation. This year, however, Malouf™ wanted to focus on COVID-19 relief efforts to give back to its community and the people. To learn more about Malouf™ and its impact, visit
