Malouf Foundation Redesigns Website to Educate Industry on Its Three-Fold Focus
December 20, 2018

LOGAN, Utah—The Malouf Foundation, the non-profit arm of Malouf, is
pleased to introduce the new and improved malouffoundation.org. With this
updated website, visitors can learn more about the mission of the foundation,
access educational resources, and explore its three-fold focus: (1) fight child
sex trafficking and exploitation; (2) comfort and care for abuse victims; and
(3) support children and families in need.
As a large part of the new website, the Malouf Foundation
launched the OnWatch campaign—designed to educate its industry peers and
members of the public on the signs of child sex trafficking and exploitation. Visitors
can access the OnWatch training page at malouffoundation.org/onwatch.
“We’re trying to shine a light on this issue,” said Sam
Malouf, who created the foundation with his wife, Kacie Malouf. “We need to
increase public awareness and encourage everyone to get trained. That’s when a
real difference can be made.”
During the training, visitors are asked to watch a series
of short videos, teaching them to identify the physical, emotional and
behavioral signs of trafficking. Upon completion, visitors are invited to sign
the pledge to spread awareness. “Getting more
involved made me realize how big the need is, both here in the United States
and across the globe,” Kacie said. “Child sex trafficking is not something
people want to talk about, but it’s important to raise awareness and give a
voice to those who can’t be heard.”
Additionally, the Malouf Foundation partners with
like-minded organizations to support its other humanitarian efforts through
events and fundraising opportunities. Find upcoming foundation events on the
recently added events page via the new website.
One of the
main goals of the new website was to reflect the many foundation enhancements
made in 2018, which is largely shown through the updated design and powerful new
imagery taken at aftercare centers for child survivors of trafficking. In
addition, the Malouf in-house creative and development teams collaborated to
simplify the donation process for all users. Visitors can access the new
donation page at malouffoundation.org/donate.
“The new website shows our team’s commitment to individuals
and families in need,” Sam said. “We’re excited about the final product, and we
encourage our partners and the general public to check it out and get involved
with the Malouf Foundation.”
